Paul Mazurkiewicz (Born September 8, 1968) is the Polish-American [1] drummer of Cannibal Corpse, and one of two remaining original members, the other being bassist Alex Webster.

Musical History

Paul was originally in the band Tirant Sin, alongside other future Cannibal Corpse members Chris Barnes and Bob Rusay. He, Barnes and Rusay met up with Alex Webster and Jack Owen in 1988, and Cannibal Corpse was formed.

Paul is married to Deana Mazurkiewicz, and together they have a daughter, Ava. He is a vegetarian.

Role in Cannibal Corpse

Besides being the band's drummer, Paul is a composer and primary songwriter of the group; examples of Paul's lyrics include "Dead Human Collection", "Frantic Disembowelment", "Monolith", "Carrion Sculpted Entity", and "Worm Infested." [3]
